The Missional Church and Immanuel
A "missional church" is a reproducing community of authentic disciples being equipped as missionaries sent by God to live and proclaim God’s Kingdom in their world.
Nine Essential Practices of Missional Churches:
- Maintain a high threshold for membership
- Be real, not real religious
- Teach to obey rather than to simply know
- Rewrite worship every week to keep it new and fresh
- Live Apostolically
- Expect to change the world
- Order actions according to missional purpose
- Measure growth by capacity to release, not retain
- Place Kingdom concerns first in both community and personal lives
Immanuel strives to go deeper into the missional journey each day, and invites you to go deeper with us into a personal relationship with Christ through the experience of Christ alive in the mission field that is all around us.
